Close enough to town for convenience and far enough from town to feel like you're in the wilderness. Camp sites are well maintained. Two toilet locations. No water or electricity. Several camp sites are right along the stream offering you that babbling brook ambience. Fairly well shaded. Plenty of level tent space in each plot.
Great campground, first come first served. About a mile on gravel road, not so rough. The campground is quiet and has a stream right next to it. Vault toilets are clean. The city of Trout lake is nearby.
Primitive site right next to the river. Beautiful. Love the sound of the river. Didn't camp here but spent the afternoon as we were there on a weekday in October. Won't be able to kayak on this river as it's very rocky and full of boulders. Also note that it's a 1.5 mile drive down a bumpy gravel road.
Quiet place to go camping, nice riverside and trail to go trekking on. Bathrooms could have been in better places or another one closer to the entrance for those who use the first 4 to 5 places.
Quiet, secluded campground on a creek. Best nights of sleep ever listening to the water flowing! Easy to get a site during summer and close to town, things to see. Bring your own water or boil it! There is a hike in campground that has its own private "beach", fire pit, and picnic table. The trail begins on the east side of the campground.
