Trout Run Camp Resort

We absolutely love Trout Run. It’s a family favorite for camping. The pool is salt and heated, with fun lights for night swims! Most of the roads are flat and paved so an excellent place to bring bikes. The splash pad is very fun, and clean! They are constantly adding new and fun upgrades that make this camping spot even more fun. They offer wagon rides, crafts, candy bar bingo and other fun events. The newest addition of a pavilion for events and basketball court were very nice! There’s also the Genesee creek to float in or kayak down but I will say if you go mid-late July the water levels are usually low and it’s a tougher trek (which is in no way a reflection of the camp) by kayak so make sure to check that before hauling kayaks down! There’s a very nice sized dog park too that we enjoy letting our little dog run in. We look forward to this trip every year. It’s very family friendly and the owner comes right out to make sure everything is going well and everyone is having a nice time. It’s a very clean park I’ll add too! Highly recommend.

This campground is better than any family friendly campground we have ever been to and surpasses even what a KOA can offer. The splash pad was a favorite. Endless activities and the bathrooms are pristine!!! Office staff were super friendly and helpful too. You can rent a golf cart for just one day, if that's all you need. We really enjoyed our experience and will absolutely be back! Thank you for such a fun time!

We enjoyed our stay. Property is well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Heated pool was big plus. The dog park is well stocked, clean and a good size. Firewood is priced reasonably and delivered to your site quickly. Campground rules are enforced which is a plus. Lots of activities for kids.

What a fabulous campground. Roomy sites. Attentive staff and lots to do for families or if you just want to relax by the fire with friends like me. Camp was peaceful at night during quiet time and everyone was friendly. I highly recommend this campground. We even got a visit from a hot air balloon!

Absolutely amazing place to go camping! Tons of stuff for the kiddos, the dog park is wonderful and a great morning meeting spot with all the other dog parents. Splash pad was perfect for littles under 5. Pool was the perfect temperature. Tubing down the river was the best experience we've ever had! I'd do it over and over. The staff is all so kind and accommodating. The owner truly cares about his property and the experience you have. Definitely plan to come a couple times a year from now on!

We stayed here this past weekend. We had a great time. The campground has many amenities and activities to keep the family busy. They have a heated pool which my daughter enjoyed; a fishing pond for the husband, and a huge dog park for our dogs to run free and play. Dog park had balls to play catch, and a spot for water. This campground has the best bathrooms I’ve ever seen, showers are large and clean! Loved the cafe for ordering food when we didn’t feel like cooking. The walk to the river down the nature trail was gorgeous. Everyone there was super friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that our campsite was out in the open and not very private; but you can choose your own campsite when you make your reservations. So, we scoped out the grounds so that we can pick a more desired site for next time. I also recommend booking a golf cart with your reservation. We made the mistake of waiting and since it was a busy weekend, there were none available. We will definitely be back. If you want an affordable campground with all the bells and whistles; this is your place. Highly recommend!

Come here every year for river regatta and have the greatest of times. The owner and staff are awesome and so accommodating. So much has been done to resort. Great place.

It's so fun to stay at, there was a Gaga pit and it was so fun for kids to play. The splash pad was also fun and they had a mini waterslide on it which kids loved it. Then the pool was nice, it felt a bit warm but it was okay. The bathrooms were super clean and I was only there for 2 days and I didn't use the showers there, but they looked very enjoyable. Overall it's a 5 out of 5.
