This place is awesome. My truck broke down while I was camping there, and the campground host drove me to the auto parts, so l could get the parts I needed to get my truck back on the road. It was also very quiet and a peaceful place to go camping.

Beautiful place to camp but beware of the care takers of the island.. They'll want to charge you for any campsite with more than two tents even though no rule on their board has this. Along with this they'll habitually harass you day to day for being a little to loud parked odd all sorts of things.. Will likely never go back.

Been camping and fishing here since the early 80's. Ice fishing. One of our favorite rustic campgrounds.
