Beautiful camp spots with a river around the corner went with family. Everyone loves the place. Only drawback is that the train bridge makes noise, which is annoying in day and sleep issues at night for those who want to sleep in quite place. Overall is a good experience.

So... before the name change this place was affordable. Now, you need to be a big shot paying inflated prices. I realize there aren't alot if campgrounds around so they pretty much can do what they like. Here's the catch though... the prices over doubled with the name change and not one thing has been added to the sites themselves and the bathroom is almost enough to make us not want to come. When the place is packed.. you don't want to come if you wish to use the bathroom. The showers won't drain in both the mens and the womens.. with each having one terrible drain and one so so drain. The smell that wafts from the men's bathroom is noticeable 2 sites away. I've been told a new bathroom is in the works.. but there was not a problem until they tiled the floor. So perhaps a new bathroom is not necessary... just uncover the vents that must have been covered??? No?? I love Boston Bar and Anderson Creek ... to me the Fraser River is home. I'm displeased because of the prices and the bathroom...I really wish they'd fill that missing section of pavement on the driveway as well...lol... and truthfully as I get older.. the hills and big rocks are hard on the knees. My favorite thing is the water... I wish they'd make the water easier to get at for semi lame people....re open the road so we can drive closer to it and use the tractor to keep an easier path. It's such a beautiful creek.

It's a great campground due to the location. It is nestled between the Fraser River and Anderson Creek. Rates are very fair, and the grounds are pet-friendly. We went for long walks on the sandy banks of the Fraser River. The washhouse could be a bit larger. However, we always got lucky during less busy hours. The only annoying issue was (not the operator's fault) that countless people preferred using their vehicles to go to the bathroom rather than walking for a minute or two, which resulted in avoidable noise and dust. The village of Boston Bar is only five (5) minutes away by car, and you can purchase more or less anything you could need there, including alcohol if deemed necessary.

This is a nice campground that is just off the highway. The sites along the river are nice with lots of shade. We also found some fruit trees on site which is pretty unusual. It could be set up a little bit better for new people coming in, like someone to greet you in case you want to change your site like we did. We never seen anyone around the whole time we were there. Maybe the time of year?

I stayed here for a few nights with a small group when we were doing research in the area. It is an absolutely beautiful campsite and very worth visiting (especially if you're a fan of rivers)! The sites are extremely well maintained and they had the cleanest campground bathroom I have ever been in. Susan, the campground manager, was so kinda and accommodating! Not only was she great at her job, but she was also a joy to be around. I would 100% recommend staying here if you are ever in the area. I know I will for sure be coming back in the future.
