Campground and it's activities are great. Difficulty is in our dealings with making reservations. We made multiple reservations for different sites to be placed together and staff split our reservations up even after we spoke about keeping us together. This is not the first time this happened to us. I can understand once but twice. Also we were told there would be a visit from the owner during our stay and that never happened. There was no apology or monetary compensation. We were also told that the site had someone on it for months but we visited 2 weeks prior to our stay and the site was empty. Do not plan to have your reservation correct when staying here. Be careful with integrity maybe an issue.

This is the camping you remember from when you were a kid! Awesome playground, pond full of wildlife, fun golf cart trails and golf cart rentals. Mostly seasonals and park was very empty during our early season stay but staff and everyone we ran into was incredibly nice and helpful! Be sure to follow their large rig directions if necessary as the park is off of a windy country road. Lots of Amish around so look out for horse and buggies and small stands selling fresh fruits and baked goods.

Outrageously overpriced items in the campground store!! I paid $12.50 for one bag of chips and one bag of Doritos!! It was $2.00 for a small candy bar!! I know people have to make a living, but damn!!! This place used to be packed on a fathers day weekend, today (Saturday), it was a ghost town! Old owners handed it down to their kids, kids are running it into the ground on a power trip!! Watch your speed on your golf cart, they will throw you out for speeding, no questions asked!! $80.00 a day to rent a golf cart (2 day minimum)🤔 The Fathers Day Dinner was awful!! Tasteless beef cooked in a crock pot!! The old owners would smoke their meats the night before the dinner, new management (their kids), took the easy way out and used crockpots!!! Whomever made the coleslaw needs a cooking class that uses spices, tasted like cheap mayonnaise and nothing else! Many other Campgrounds in the area to choose from! If I were you I would look around before you stay here!! Word to the wise!!
