Tulsa NE / Will Rogers Downs KOA Journey

11/19-11/22: Great park for a short stay. Clean. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Had a pull through for our 41 ft 5th wheel and room for our dually truck.

This is one of the best campgrounds I have stayed at for an extended period of time, the people who work here put all their effort into creating a clean and positive environment for its guests and are always welcoming and helpful. There is a dog run that is kept clean, and a playground for children. The staff at this campground make the place what it is today, which is a wonderful place to stay and caring individuals who will do their best to make your stay an enjoyable one.

This is a clean, well maintained RV park next to a casino and horse track. The casino often has live music and dancing from 8pm-12am which was amazing. You wake up to horses training on the track at about 7am. The bathrooms were very clean. The bathrooms are closed every day 8am-11am which is easy enough to plan around in order to have clean restrooms. Everyone from the owners, to workers at the casino, and the horse trainers were extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place!

This KOA is a bit unique in a good way. It sits near the horse race track and casino. That meant at dinner time we walked over to the Casino and had a good meal (I ordered the steak and it was very good, especially for the price). The campground is very clean, as were the restrooms. Our site was long enough that we didn’t have to disconnect and it was a pull through. For the money, this place earned a 10.

Beautifully clean campground next to Will Rogers Downs racetrack. Each spot is well maintained and those bathrooms are spotless. Plenty of room in the shower stalls. Office is friendly and staff is very helpful. They also have a great playground for the kiddos and one for the pups as well. Security staff on hand 24/7 and tirnado shelters on site. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay outside Tulsa, this is it!

Stayed at the KOA campground so no rooms. Campsites are excellent. Staff was extremely helpful. The casino offered excellent food at very reasonable prices. Every facet of the property is top notch.

Nice, clean bathrooms and showers. Souvenir shirts were reasonably priced and high quality. Casino bar and cafe were typically overpriced but acceptable. It was cool to see the horses training. They have a storm shelter. Which they needed last year. Pay attention to the weather.

We stay in the rv park every year when we're here on business, and we won't stay anywhere else. Everyone at the office is knowledgeable and friendly. It's almost like our second home. I would recommend that if you're in the Tulsa area, stay at Will Rogers KOA. It's the best.

We stayed at this KOA this past April. In spite of the rain, it was a nice place for an overnight, not far off the interstate. The tornado shelter was interesting and comforting that such a structure was not far from our campsite. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was neat and clean.
