Tumbling River Ranch

Kudos to Megan,Scott and staff at Tumbling River. I am 74 years old and took my family there for the most fantastic vacation !!!!! We did it all rafting, fishing, shooting,yoga and riding every day.The food was fantastic had to buy the cookbook to try cooking some of the great food. It was so great that my son and daughters in-law plan on taking their kids in two years.

Tumbling River Ranch is an absolute amazing experience. Scott and Megan do a wonderful job making every day a new experience and something you'll remember for a lifetime. The staff including the wranglers, cooks, kids counselors, maintenance crew, and cleaning staff are all amazing human beings. You will create memories for a lifetime. Bonus, the food is amazing.

We had an incredible time at TRR! It feels like staying at someone's home vs a hotel. Megan and Scott the owners are a part of everyday sharing stories and history of this beautiful property. The staff is almost entirely college aged kids that are happy to be there. Our kids 7&9 spent most of their day with the kids program- riding horses, swimming, singing, roaming the property. You won't see anyone sitting on their phones- there's no WiFi ! And there are no TVs. The horse program is great for beginners- the horses were gentle and we rode mostly in slow mountain trails. I did many of the hikes offered and they were challenging and beautiful. It was a very active trip, in the best way. The food was excellent- healthy, hearty, family style meals. My kids are begging to go back next year. Thank you to everyone at Tumbling River for this experience. ❤️🐎

Our stay Tumbling River was the most memorable trip we’ve done as a family yet. Wonderful in so many ways. The food was delicious, our cabin (the Frenchman) was lovely, and the activities were plentiful. The selling point for us was the kids program, which is really well run and ended up making the whole trip for all of us—both kids and parents! Our 2 kids (7 and 4.5 years old) were occupied and fully engaged in fun fun fun from right after breakfast until the early evening, and 2 nights thru dinner! They had a blast and we knew they were well taken care of, which freed me and my husband up to actually enjoy ourselves! Perhaps the most unique and impactful thing about the place though is the staff. They are all—across the board—warm, engaging, relaxed, and very nice to talk to. They clearly love working there and set the whole tone for the week. We had already booked our week for next summer before we’d even left.

Hello Tumbling River Crew We had a fantastic week at the ranch. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our week was, for all four of us. The variety of activities each day was just right. With options for a busy/hard day or leisurely. The food was great and the service was excellent. The entire staff is phenomenal! Friendly, courteous, attentive and fun. A true gold standard for customer service. Our waitstaff in the dining room and bar were fabulous. The Teen Counselor Connor went above and beyond taking care of our kids Travis and Wyatt on the overnight trip. The wranglers were great, we loved them all but especially the two Anna’s. Maggie was also wonderful at making sure everything was running smoothly. And Will the Head Waiter was right there with anything and everything you needed, Johnny on the spot at all times. Thank you all so much for making our trip seamless and effortless. All we had to do was relax and enjoy the ranch. Speaking of enjoying it, loved the rodeo, but still not sure how my husband beat me in the Key Hole Race?? Of course the scenery is fantastic but the upkeep of the ranch facilities was top notch. Attention to detail and a well maintained facility was obvious everywhere. Megan and Scott run a tight ship and have taught their staff well. It was crazy how they all learned our names right away and were our friends from minute one. Loved the attitudes of the staff. Anyone that has worked for this company will be able to get a great job anywhere after their experience with the ranch. The positivity was infectious. Would love to see all kids go through your training program, our country would be in a better place right now if they did. We’ll definitely be back in a few years with our next gen granddaughters and will recommend the ranch to one and all.
