We had a wonderful weekend getaway with family! Our sites, 2 together, were large and well maintained. It was quiet and a nice blend of sun and shade. Everything from the portable toilets to the showers to the pool was immaculate. At first I was a bit concerned about having to wait until we got there to get our site numbers since we needed 2 sites together, but I worried for nothing. The only thing I didn't like was lack of cell service, US Cellular, obviously not the fault of the campground. I highly recommend Tunnel Trail Campground for families! Especially if you like to bike. The Elroy Sparta trail is right there! It was also well maintained and a nice ride no matter what the skill level of the rider. Couldn't have been happier with everything!

This is a wonderful little campground on the Elroy Sparta bike trail. The staff here is wonderful, the campground is nice. This is definitely set up for a family adventure. Take the bikes and ride up to the tunnels. We have come here for years with our children and have many fond memories.

This is a wonderful campground in the woods close to the bike trails. Super friendly staff, nice sized spots in the shade, bike rentals available, and it’s all very reasonably priced. The campground was very quiet and the shower house was clean. They even have a pool.

The Tunnel Trail Campground looked impressive and inviting as we biked past it. Seriously considered a future trip to the area to camp! We stopped at the campground, made purchases in the store and requested to eat our picnic lunch at a table under one of the shade trees in the nearly empty campground (it was a hot/humid day and we were feeling over heated). The owner and/or manager of the campground rudely denied our request offering an umbrella covered table that was not in a shaded area. We have reconsidered a return trip to the campground due to the rude and unfriendly customer service!
