10/10 campground. Excellent customer service from the owner, I assume it's the owner, he reached out almost as soon as I booked to let me know about the place, and the firewood and ice they offer on the honor system. We had the campground to ourselves seeing as it was 20 degrees that night but it was beautiful, the stars were so bright and it was peaceful and quiet. The bathrooms were warm and so so clean. There was also a nice deck area off of the Office that was cute. I had no trouble finding my site or navigating the campground since it was smaller than most places I have stayed. The sounds of the creek were just loud enough to be a nice sound to sleep to. We just had one night but we will definitely be back for more.

Inspired by the Outdoor Boys YouTube channel, I just went winter camping at a couple of places over a long weekend in mid-January. This one was the best by far! A huge perk of going in winter is avoiding the crowds. I got to choose from any of the tent campsites because I was the only tent camper there! "But it was cold, right?!" Not with the plenty of layers and the warmth of a fire! "Even at night?" Right before bed, warm up your sleeping bag by sticking an uninsulated metal bottle of hot water in it... Then go take a hot shower! Seriously! A valuable part of winter camping is the challenge of the cold, but after shouldering that challenge for a few days, crawling into a warm sleeping bag after a hot shower and falling asleep to the sound of a burbling creek is one of the best feelings in the world! And some winter campsites don't have hot showers, let alone ones as nice as you'll find at Turkey Creek! PS: The firewood was so dry and thinly split that all I needed to start the fire was two sheets of newsprint and a single match. I had a propane heater as a backup, but I didn't need it at all!

Loved my visit! Really beautiful peaceful campground. Everything is really well maintained including the bathrooms! I recommend getting a stream-side site. The sound of the water lulling you to sleep is amazing. It’s a beautiful campground with great amenities in a location perfect for so many adventures. Highly recommend. Already planning to book again next year.

What a fantastic campground. We wish all campgrounds could be this wonderful. It is a quiet, beautiful campground! From the moment we arrived until we departed, Rick was friendly, helpful and working hard. The gathering area was beautiful-we loved sitting up there during sunsets. The bath house was extremely clean, as well as the laundry area-dish cleaning sink area. It was very easy to pick up needed firewood and ice anytime, paying with the honor system. We will definitely be back very soon!
