We just had a wonderful experience here!! The sites were large to accommodate our 35 foot fifth wheel with beautiful tree coverage! Each tree had a birdhouse and corn for the squirrels! Each site comes with a fire pit, with firewood and picnic tables, to include cute cozy cabins within the park as well. Our nephew enjoyed catching and releasing in the beautiful pond within the park! Mr. James made us feel welcome and had cheese bread and sausage for us Sunday morning. I truly can’t say enough about this wonderful place where every site had something special to offer. We will definitely be returning here again!!!
Staying at Turkey Quarter Campground was like going home. James, the owner, was very hospitable and accommodating. He not only leaves on the light; but he also makes homemade cheesy biscuits with a sausage and a dollop of molasses for his campers. The campground is well maintained and very clean. The camp hosts are also very helpful and kind. My husband and I stayed at site 10, which is a very spacious and level site with plenty of shade. Firewood and kindling were available at every site. We have already reserved another weekend at this awesome place.
This was a pretty and quiet campsite, we enjoyed our stay there, they did fireworks ,the first night was rained out so they did them again the next night, which was nice. They also did cheese biscuits and sausage on Sunday, it was really good. The owner was a little grumpy about campers with dogs, which was most of the campers on site. But we still enjoyed our time.
Very clean and well managed RV park close to New Bern NC and the eastern shore . The RV pad was level, electric hookups , sewer and water all worked as they should. Plenty of room between RVs didn't feel claustrophobic ! The owners were extremely nice and friendly. They even brought us over Sunday morning breakfast which was delicious btw ! We will definitely be back !
This has been a gem of a campground. Our most enjoyable one in last 34 days of our journey across the country. No frills but clean, quite, well kept open roads, large easy access sites, full hookup and each site includes firewood, fire ring, picnic table and tentative hosts and owner. The owner ,James, has a trailer on site and makes time to meet the guests. James and his wife delivered free breakfast to each camper on Sunday mornings. We fished in the fishing pond, site has plenty of shade and very quite at night.
