Customers who have visited Turkey Springs Dispersed Camping have shared their positive experiences. One visitor mentioned: "Came here at Thanksgiving so there was snow and ice but I made it through the snow 4 miles in to find a decent campsite. Made it just fine in a 2wd van but some areas were a little sketchy. I stayed in a van with a heated blanket and did fine. We cooked outside before the sunset. Very beautiful scenery with a pond and mountains in the background. Very peaceful and quiet." Another visitor added: "Super sweet and quaint spot. Very well taken care of. Best 7 days I’ve had in awhile! Peaceful and serene. Super grateful for this place. I also love the drive by the lake into town."
These reviews highlight the charm and beauty of Turkey Springs, as well as its peaceful atmosphere. They also emphasize the sense of adventure and self-sufficiency that comes with dispersed camping.

Super sweet and quant spot. Very well taken care of. Best 7 days I’ve had in awhile! Peaceful and serene. Super grateful for this place. I also love the drive by the lake into town.
The place is beautiful and cell reception on AT&T and Tmobile was great. The dogs stayed off lease because there is nothing around
BEWARE, If coming from Highway 160 to 146 (Forest Service Rd 628) you’ll need 4x4 to drive several miles of the service road as it pretty much turns into an ATV trail! Otherwise, you’ll need to come in a different way.
Quiet, lots of privacy. No water (drinkable or otherwise) or pit toilets. Heavily wooded. Ground a bit dusty.
