One reviewer noted a "nice staff" but pointed out several negative aspects, including numerous potholes, poor upkeep, filthy bathrooms, and inconvenient garbage disposal locations depending on the campsite. They also experienced difficulty maneuvering a 40' Class A RV around the first corner without detaching their tow vehicle. Additionally, the store hours were limited, closing at 5 pm with no staff available until 10 am.

Another reviewer who reserved a "loft" for a significant cost reported several issues with the accommodation. These included ripped and stained mattress covers, an unstable front deck, filthy carpets, non-functional internet, disconnected water, a used grill, and missing drawers. Despite a polite staff, the reviewer indicated that they were unable to resolve these issues and that the owner did not return their calls.

Based on these recent reviews, potential local users considering Tuxbury Pond Campground should be aware of the reported issues concerning site maintenance, cleanliness, and the condition of accommodations. Nice staff. Way too many potholes. Not well kept. Bathrooms are filthy, garbage is a drive to get to depending on what side of the park you are on. Couldn't get our class A 40' around the first corner without removing our tow. Store closes at 5 pm no staff until 10 am. Was not a great experience.

Reserved a "loft" for$274 for 1 night. Mattresses had covers that were ripped and mattress had obvious stains. Front deck was literally falling off the building. Carpets were filthy. Internet does not work. Water was not hooked up. Grill had foil over it that had been used. Drawers missing. And I'm sure I'm forgetting other things. Staff was polite but unable to fix anything and owner did not return my phone calls.

⛔️You must come through campground road from Whitehall to get to campground. ⛔️⛔️Powwow cove is closed at the entrance to the campground. The entrance is now through campground road. There are low trees leading to the campground especially from the powwow side. Once you make it to campground road it is not bad to navigate with larger rigs. The park is split between two states so your other gps may show weird addresses or zips. The Google gps gets you to the destination. When you hit the sports club stay left on the gravel for approx 1 mile. Till you come to the front gate. Average campground. Needs a refresh and better signage to help navigate to the campground.

Not too bad of a place to stay but the bathroom was not cleaned the whole 7 days I was there, there was no toilet paper for days in the women's bathroom. There is no grounds keeper or other staff beside one person at the desk in the store. Because of these reasons I will most likely find a new campground next year.

I had a really nice time here. I know there are some areas that are a little rough around the edges but this is a campground not a 5 star hotel. I really enjoyed the vibe and location. The staff were really nice and helpful. I'll be back

We unfortunately came in when it was raining and we were parked now in a small pond. There is a 4” deep puddle where the edge is 6+ ft from the step. Had to use blocks the make makeshift stepping stones just to get in the trailer. This is Saturday and we plan on staying here till the following Sunday !!!🤦‍♂️Not happy to say the least!

Nice place to camp. Wish the office was open longer. We travel for work and stayed here for a month. When we would get back to our RV, sometimes we want to go to the office/store to get some things but it closes at 5pm. We feel it should stay open longer to be convenient for all people camping and people coming in at later times. Overall we liked our spot and the people were very nice!
