We stayed in one of the cabins for a week while my parents stayed in their RV at Reds. The Cabin included an enclosed fire ring, outdoor picnic table, outdoor rocking bench. Inside had many more amenities than I expected. Queen sized 4 post bed, recliners, mini fridge/freezer combo, microwave, TV, table and chairs. There was a big box fan, overhead ceiling light and fan and a space heater. We were very comfortable despite the cool evenings and hot days. Very peaceful and friendly neighbors. The shower/laundry house is huge and very clean! Good water pressure. Can’t say enough good things about our “glamping” experience!

Did not enjoy this campground. 80+ trains a day go by and lay on their horns the entire time. Not a place for kids either. The owners patrol the campground enforcing a laundry list of rules. You can’t bring your own firewood. Have to buy their overpriced crap. The entrance is a huge hill and there’s signs that say if we can’t see your brake lights you’re going too fast. Then the seasonal Karen’s that are on cinderblocks sit in their chairs with natty lights yelling at any car they deem going too fast. So if you enjoy camping while under surveillance and have the freedom of a maximum security prison this place is for you.

Campground was beautiful. Store was nice - I may have gotten a few ice creams:) rocked spots are skinny, just enough width for your camper and there is not an area in your spot that is rock or cement for you to set up and they understandably don't want mats on the grass.

Just had an 8 night stay at Red's. The camp ground is very nice, although relatively pricey for the campground its self. The owner himself, Red, is a wonderful person and I had the opportunity to speak with him for a little bit. I was concerned with all the 'rules' from other reviews, however it is a campground, and there are children. Be respectful, and drive slowly. That is what we did and we were not hassled once. We did not have any issues at the pool, however I did notice others have issues with children jumping in the pool.. not diving, just jumping and being kids. A seasonal camper scolded the children, that in my opinion were just being kids. I explained the rules to my kids, and they followed them and we have no issues. Just some rules such as no jumping into the pool, is slightly overboard. There are some nicer campgrounds within a half hour area, for the same price or cheaper. We tend to stay in the Rochester area for a week or two every year on our 8 week summer trip with the kids. Most likely, we will choose a different campground that provides a slightly better value.
