As a single solo female traveller I did not feel safe here at all, which is an unusual experience for me in a state park. I drove thru a few different times, and each time there was people parking in spots, and using the showers etc. And these people were not the type I would want to hang around with in a campsite. Not a Discovery pass to be seen either. They also had not updated the website to show pretty much the entire campground was closed except for about 20 sites. I didn’t to find out that until I had driven all the way there. This fell far short of expectations.

Campground is in short walking distance to a beach full of stones. Need to change tokens for shower. Can hear the tide sounds at night. Has updated restrooms and older one.

$20 to tent camp, but you must bring cash. The showers are free and the bathrooms are nice. Lots of fresh water available. The campgrounds were dry and appointed w new benches and fire pits. The campgrounds were very clean The cabins and yurts looked nice, but we didn’t see the inside.

Super well maintained campground. We were in the strip that was close to the highway so a little noisy but otherwise great, a lot of the campground was flooded while we were there but it should dry up by the summer.
