Once the side by sides go through, it's quiet. You might get hear a dog bark briefly. Not a big deal. Road it well maintained, great for cycling, and walking. You can access the tunnel (walking only) from the parking lot. It's quite the drop in. Most can do just fine. Getting out, well if you're very short and not as flexible or strong it can be a bit challenging. There is a couple ways to get out but ones another healthy drop. Well worth the effort. The sites range from small to big enough for the bigger rigs. Easy in easy out in many. If you are lucky, you can find a nice spot along the very low river. Best thing, free. You need to be self contained. No porta potties or facilities of any kind. BLM land boondocking!

Fabulous spot to boondock, can get crowded so get there early to get a spot along the river. Belly of the beast trail is pretty cool too
