At this point..in all my travels..this is by far my favorite in us..i Will go back Which I did..2/23..the spot I'd stayed before was lived at by a local,so found a diff one, guess skunks are bad there,my dog was sprayed and wiped it on EVERYTHING...there was trash everywhere because guess funding was cut for forest rangers,so spent time trying to wash skunk stank out and picking up garbage...beautiful place, diff experience,so SUPPORT YR LOCAL WILDLIFE PRESERVES AND STOP DUMPING TRASH YA FKTRDS... n beware of skunks...doesn't smell like good weed when it's actually sprayed, made us all sick...

Was here just for a hike but it looked like there were a couple of primitive camp sites and one plastic Porta Potty. So if you are looking for a great senic hike or a place to launch a kayak, this is the place to be. The trail is well marked and loops so it is hard to get lost. Also you can access the water for swimming, but honestly, there are way better spots for that. Come for the great hike.

Nice place to camp, hopefully you don't have a schmuck next to you running a generator the whole time like I did...

Quiet place to camp out, everyone was spaced out, there was picnic tables, good view of the sky, and a short walk to the shore line
