Lots of trees and places to hike. Lake Cleveland is only a mile up the road. Bathrooms weren't the cleanest but they were there. Also one of the cheapest places to camp in the area.
It was very dry and dusty. Close quarters, so you could hear everyone. The restroom area wasn't well stocked and became very gross. No good hiking trails that I could find. I imagine it would be nice to visit on a weeknight when it wasn't as crowded. There are some nice pine tree areas that make it feel more wooded than it actually is. It's also really close to Lake Cleveland, which is great. It's not too far from Burley, so it's a quick getaway. I almost forgot to mention that you can bring your horses to this campground. So if that's a draw for you, this might be a good place for you. Overall a decent camping location.
This is a good campground. Only issue is that it is more for trailers and rvs. And because of that people park where they want and take up more space than what they need or should making it hard to find a spot for yourself. They have corrals for horses of you have them. Get there early if you want to use them because someone will park next to them and you won't be able to get in most likely.
Loved the view but that's all you're getting. The main attraction, Lake Cleveland was closed in the middle of June! Bunch of B.S.!
There needs to be some running water specially for a horse campground. And people need to keep their fires in their fires pits.
