Great little camp area. We got cell service at the top of the hill right before we dropped into the campground. Spent 2 nights camping along the lake. Lots of birds and ducks. The stars at night were amazing.
A beautiful desert campsite perfect for unwinding. No cell service, as it should be. Google Maps doesn't list the current access road, which one reaches off via Coffee Pot and Highline roads.
A little rough getting into. Small boats only if you want to launch. Bank fishing or from the dock for rainbows up to 4 lbs. Has bass also. Primitive camp site and no running water or garbage disposal. Watch for rattlesnakes. Wildlife includes cattle, Turkey, and deer.
The place was very beautiful in its starkness. Rock formations everywhere and both lakes were beautiful. It's a bit too early to go camping, but we'll be going back when the weather's warms up this summer.
Great place to camp.and fish ...When the winds not blowing 🐟🍻🙄
