Great camp site in the river. Perfect for the Twin Rivers overnight canoe trip! All the sites are well maintained with firewood for the fire pits, clean porta-johns, and great views of the river. All sites are either on the water or close enough that it rally doesn't matter. One of the best parts is that the train is nearly a mile away and won't wake you up at night. Very quiet and peaceful!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did the overnight glamping canoe trip. The camp site was well maintained with a fire pit, chairs, picnic table, and covered "kitchen" area. We didn't even mind that it rained the entire first day. They exceeded our expectations in every way.

Almost everything about these campsites are great, but the one flaw is a severe one: poison ivy. Granted, they seemed to have cleaned it up a bit since a few years back, but it wasn't hard to find the plant growing immediately around the campsites. There was a rarer shrub version of it nearly overhanging the tent pad in one site that ended up giving me a horrible rash. The worst of it grows only as high a ankle level along many of the main paths to and from the water.
