The campground was empty other than myself and one other camper (I visited on a Thursday night in August). There is decent cell service (LTE only) with Mint Mobile, especially for being in the middle of nowhere. The skies are crazy dark and I could see the milky way with the unaided eye. The only facilities are covered picnic tables and a vault toilet. There are weeds everywhere that stick to clothes.
Very remote no trees. The review with the tree in the background and the truck bed camper was not taken at this campground. No cell service here. It's a nice remote area with lots of public land to explore. Come prepared with a broom to clean up your site and some cleaners for the bathroom.
No buddy here human but lot of swallow and small groundhogs and bugs bunny. Also hawk. Birds singing lot. Feel good.
Quiet and beautiful setting.
Not as well kept for a fed camp ground. Maybe the Covid-19. Would hope for nicer well kept public place with our tax money.
