Sites were spacious and mostly pull-through. We had reserved a site in back but since we were just there one night, changed to a site up front - #16. It was a level, full hook-up site with 50 amp power. As we were there mid-week in October, it was quiet and not busy. Near Chimney Bluff State Park - worth a visit.

I found about this campground on Facebook last year.. booked for 8/15 weekend.. the campground is fantastic for being under construction.. our site was level.. all hook ups were in working order and no issues which make setting up and unhooking a breeze.. there were activities to do like rock painting, bingo, wagon ride, movies and a band on Saturday.. it was a great time.. the owner came by and introduced himself which means a lot to people so they feel a connection since their are not seasonal’s.. there are a lot of seasonal’s but the campers are held to a standard which is nice.. nothing like looking at dumpy campers when your at a rv park.. the staff we encountered were all friendly. This one young girl I swear she was a master of many trades she was making me laugh at all she was doing.. it’s a walkable place there is a incline that isn’t the worst to walk up but for those with issues they may have some difficulty.. will go again. Thx you for a great time. I even bought my camper mascots from their store. 😊

Twisted Creek was a pleasant surprise. The campground is new, only 2 years old so it is a work in progress, but, what is completed is beautiful and laid out well and you can tell when Steve is done with his upgrades this place will be amazing. The sites are very level as we pulled in and were perfectly level without doing anything. The fire pits are unique as they are tall stones lined up on the gravel, really nice! The gravel roads are smooth and the gravel is a nice small size. The general Store is well stocked. Steve the owner walks the property, talks to his camper customers and provides top notch service. Our fellow campers were quiet, there is enough space between sites you have privacy, Nice mix of seasonal campers and weekend campers like us. If you are looking for a simple, beautiful, quiet place to rest on a long journey or just getting away from the hustle and bustle of the City this place rocks! There is live music on Friday night, the band was great and we could hear nicely from our campsite, there is a really cute playground area for the kids and the owner's daughter does many crafts with the kids as well! We camped at Twisted Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed this past weekend and had a great time! Owners and family are very friendly. They have full hookups, plenty of length, and definitely big rig friendly. We look forward to many more visits and seeing all the new sites and amenities they have planned. If we could have added more stars we would have!!

My husband and I stayed there for a 4 day weekend. The owner came over and talked to us and was very personable and told us all his future plans for his campground. The sites are huge and well maintained. We will definitely be going back. 2024

First time camping with our new toy hauler and what a wonderful surprise this place was. A friend referred me and although it is the first week open and they have been expanding, it was wonderful. All the hookups were new and the water fountain was just outside. It rained everyday but we still had a blast. The owner and his son and staff are more than helpful. We will be coming back. THis place has music, a bar, a restaurant and the coolest fire pits that are classy. Def going back there.
