I camped here with a group of women and loved it! I felt safe and everything was so clean and well marked. I hiked throughout the campground and swam and it was so very lovely! Loved having access to the bathroom near my campsite and the main building! Love that it feels like you’re far away and really so close to anything you may need!
If you’re looking for a place to camp to enjoy Grand Rapids or Northern Minnesota, Two Rivers RV and Campground is the spot to be. From the beautiful shower house to the hiking trails, river access and fishing, this campground will be your new favorite spot. While you camp, you can enjoy the fantastic hiking trails that the owners created and take in the wonderful views of the La Prairie and Mississippi rivers. If you’re planning on spending your time in Grand Rapids, the campground is only a short 7 minute drive to the center of the city. Each site is well kept and has a fire ring to make a campfire, along with picnic tables. There is also a playground on site for the kids to enjoy. Will definitely be back again!
This is a new campground with plenty of large sites located just 2 miles from the heart of Grand Rapids, MN. It is conveniently located just off HWY 2, but it is far enough away to not have much noise from the traffic. We heard a train horn while on a walk, but that was the only time we heard it. All of the sites have 20/30/50A electric available and are $40/ night. The campground hosts welcomed us when we pulled in, and shortly after we pulled into our site, they came by in their golf cart to make sure we were happy with it. The campsite pads are large with enough room for a picnic table and fire ring between them. There are hiking/walking trails near the rivers with a few benches to sit on while overlooking the rivers. As it is new, there were many open camp sites, so there was very little foot and vehicle traffic. The space between sites is fairly natural, so there are ferns, weeds, and natural terrain as well as some trees that provide ample shade. The shower/ bathroom building is very clean and well kept. It has a seating area with games and a table and chairs for playing games or visiting. The games can be brought to your campsite with the expectation you will return them. There are 2 vault toilets and 10 fresh water spigots available in the campground as well as a dump station located at the entry to the campground for easy access on your way in/out. For long term stays, they have someone that will come to your rv and pump out your tanks for a small fee. I'm not sure about replenishing your fresh water supply though. Over time, I think this campground will become a very desirable place to go for families and friends to "get away" for a weekend, or for others to use as their seasonal getaway.
What a fantastic little spot! This newer campground really impressed us. One of the best parts was how nicely spaced out the campsites were—you’re not packed in like sardines, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. It’s super close to town, so everything you might need is just a few minutes away, but it still feels tucked away and quiet. Perfect balance of convenience and seclusion. We’ll definitely be back!
Camp sights are very nice and roomy, easy to back into. Nice and quiet while still being close to town. Clean bathrooms with super soft toilet paper! The bathrooms are located at Base camp and there's a nice view looking out the massive windows while playing games or just hanging out from bad weather. If staying for a long period of time they have someone that comes right to your sight to empty your tanks once a week. I highly recommend this campground, it's only been open for a year and already has a great start!
