My husband and I have been coming here for years! We really love the changes that the county has made and the improvements are fantastic! This time we stayed in one of the smaller cabins. the cabin, restroom, and shower were sparkling clean! We stayed Sunday-Tuesday and had the entire campground to ourselves. Karen and her husband the camp hosts were very friendly. We will definitely be coming back!
Great spot with plenty of room to park, camp host was very nice. My only complaint was the shower house felt like it was lacking water flow and a dry spot to change, and the stray cats getting into the garbage and eating scraps off the Blackstone were annoying
Stayed for 4 nights. Excellent campground. Has the best wifi 50 amp service. Convenience store with A cycle shop and parts and accessories for riding. Easy access to the dunes for riding and beach access for non riding. You can go Crabbing and Clamming as well. Definitely will come again.
We have been staying at umpqua dunes every mid-september for last 6-7 yrs perfect dunes access, we did have a theft of a quad a few yrs back but we recovered the quad with the assistance of Douglas County SO overall for our family and friends it's a nice place to stay
This is the first time we have stayed here since the new remodel of the campground. We had such a great experience. The facilities are very clean and well laid out. Access to the dunes is a breeze and the on site store with fuel available makes this place a perfect destination. Their was a karaoke party one night that was such a good time for us, and several other random campers came to enjoy the entertainment. The campground is perfect for all ages.
Over charged us to park truck and trailer to haul our sandrail and side x side 198.00 for 2 days is ridiculous and we could of parked somewhere for alot less and then ask if we where sleeping in our truck when we were there with our friends in their r.v. I thought when you checked in you had to register your camp r.v. and if you don't register one they should tell you we have 10.00 parking over there. Needless to say won't go there ever again....seems like when you want to keep your money local you get screwed
Always fun camping and riding at the dunes, even if my bike blows up.
