We made a last minute decision to stop in Moab for the night and looking for more of a true Moab experience, we decided to stay here. So glad we did! It's a beautiful place, clean, with plenty of shade trees, hot showers, and very clean bathrooms. It was nice and quiet at night, and only a short walk to restaurants and shopping. Dave was the perfect host; recommending Moab trails and renting us like new camping equipment (since we left all of ours at home and didn't want to buy new). We had so much fun! I would definitely camp here again.
Very cool little campground in downtown Moab. Location is very central. Reservation made online easily and confirmed quickly. Self check-in was easy. Bathrooms and showers were warm and very clean. Quiet hours were respected. Campsite on soft sand and fit our 6-person tent and had its own picnic table. You have to walk your stuff in but they have carts and it's not too far a walk. Booked 1 month in advance and got the last available site, so book early.
Conveniently located campsite (roughly 20 minute drive from arches) We felt very safe here and truly appreciated the free showers and the propane BBQ! The bathrooms and kitchen sink area were always clean! You can hear the traffic at night but it isn’t horrific. Lots of cute deer frequent the campground garden! I would stay here again
We had a great time staying here. The manager was a friendly, helpful guy willing to share all the best insider info. The campground is convenient to everything the area has to offer, and super close to the grocery store if you forgot some essentials. It was wonderful not to have to hear RV generators running or have vehicles shining their lights in your tent at 3 a.m. We especially appreciated clean showers and the dishwashing sink. We had some deer come by, and a family of raccoons stopped in (they were very respectful). There were hundreds of butterflies, and a most awesome beetle. Absolutely recommend this place!
I was camping here June 20-21, 2024...I never saw a camp host until a flash flood was about to happen and even then I was told by the substitute host, it would not flood. IT DID. DO NOT STAY AT THIS CAMPGROUND IF THERE IS A THREAT OF RAIN. Less than 2 years ago a larger flood hit this campground and almost cost the life of a few campers. AND know the parking lot is prone to flooding...if any rain, park on the street.
