Beautiful place to camp with immediate access to several hiking trails. Seasonal vault toilets are kept clean regularly. Horse corrals for those traveling with horses. Elk pass near by and sometimes straight through camp. Mule deer eat apples right in camp. Really is a great place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors! Nearby trails offer some of the areas most breathtaking views and more wildlife experiences.
Absolutely beautiful place to camp! We were basically the only ones there but there were plenty of wonderful places to set up camp. Secluded but we’ll maintained. Highly recommended. Thanks to Mrs Claudia from the Smokey Bear Ranger Distric office for her assistance and directions to get us there.
Amazing place! Went for the first time not knowing what to expect and it was truly amazing. Restrooms were very clean, the nearby creek is beautiful and it was so relaxing. Will be going again.
I seriously cannot believe I didn’t have to pay to camp here. The area is beautiful, there were tons of spots and a bathroom!
