large spacious parking area, but sites don't seem good for pitching a tent. Car campers, campervans, smaller trailers (fairly steep drive in & put) will have a flat, level place to crash. Right next to Iron Creek, which is pretty when it has water in it.
Watch for the bandit skunk. Seriously, I turned to walk to the creek & got about 30' before he tried to get my groceries. Anyway, three tables, trash, & toilet with lots of shade. No TMO signal.
Small campground (only a few sites) but very beautiful. Scenic Creek right next to sites. Tables, fire pits and public restrooms. I saw sihns of predators (prints by creek)... do don't let small dogs wander.
A pull off campground that has more going for it than it looks at first pass. While there's only a few places to pitch a tent, the gentle burbling stream, bird songs, and overall serenity of the place make it well worth the quick trip, or even a stop on a longer one. Clean bathroom with sticked toilet paper, picnic benches, bbq pits and tall trees set in the picturesque gorge.
Super nice and relaxing. It has space for RVs, picnic tables, fireplaces that can be used as grill. The creek is accessible. Restroom available.
