Lake and trees are beautiful. Sunrise and sunset 🌇🌆 are to kill for. Large lake front well separated sites. Enough cell signal to watch you tube. 3 Pit toilets and 15 sites. Free to stay all year. Nice 3 mile trail around the lake.
Beautiful place to stay. Free camping, nice sites, and bathrooms are clean. Pet friendly. There is a campground host that definitely makes herself known. She's nice, however a little too nice. She asked a lot of questions and took pictures of my vehicle. Anyways, nice trail around the lake, but the highway is right there, and it's noisy. I see why it's free.
This is a free camping site, a national wetland nature reserve, with wild geese, camping spaces, RV parking, toilets, and no water or electricity. There are two gas stations within fifteen minutes nearby. The environment is good, quiet, safe and ecologically friendly.
Beautiful spot to stop along the way. Everytime we come by there are always spots open. Water is pretty low. Peaceful although the camp spots are close to the highway. Didn't get to fish as it was too windy. Hoping to try next time.
A Must see!!! Such a beautiful, peaceful getaway. Free camping, porta potty type restrooms, and fishing and kayaking allowed. Bbq pit and fire pits are available and spots fit 1 -2 cars and rvs. Will come back again.
