Upper Pine CG is just above Pine CG near Rock Creek Lodge and approx. a mile below Rock Creek lake. Many of the camp sites are well groomed with plenty of space for a 24 foot trailer, 5th, or RV. Beware the steeper driveway into the campground; passable but may be rutted with potholes. Pit toilets were clean. Water spigot with threaded nozzle in middle of campground near toilets. Fire rings are starting to show wear and tear, but very functional. Nearby rock creek and trail to the lake. Beware the bears, put your food away in bear lockers. Baby bear enjoyed another site's canola oil after puncturing the spray can.
