Great gem of a campground. Host was super nice. Cleanest pit toilet I have seen. Swimming hole in the creek is an easy short walk in camp. Site #2 is large with a horseshoe driveway. Easily fit 2 or even 3 cars in it. $8 per night for each car over 1.

Very nice campground. Bathroom was a little dirty but that’s very hard to maintain with the septic hole. Kids enjoy Animals near by and Mother Nature in general. Tons of shade and a freezing cold swimming hole near by. Doable in the summer time but as it gets colder is probably just a bigger challenge. Be prepared to be off grid 100% unless you have Starlink you are not getting signal at all.

Great campground! There's a small swimming hole nearby, it was nice and quiet. Our host Ryan was friendly. Restrooms are clean, water spout were close by. Family of deer comes by everyday. Definitely will be coming back.

Quiet campground with a small river running nearby. At night you can hear the water flowing which is nice. It’s very close to a nearby store that has wifi and regular bathrooms. Depending on what you want to do, you’ll be about 20 minutes away from the attractions in Sequoia National Park.

This review is for UPPER STONY CREEK campground which is across the street from the Stony Creek campground. Our family camped at sites #2, #3, #4 and #5. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. The forest around the campground is beautiful, the air smells great and you can hear the water running at the nearby stream. Our campsites were decent sizes, the picnic tables were in good condition and the fire pits were great. We saw zero bears while we were there, but there were deer in our campsites every single night! So, that was cool. The nearby stream is right next to the campground, so that is awesome, but the water is super cold. If you are a guy, be prepared for shrinkage. The campsite is about five minutes from a store, restaurant and showers. The final awesome thing about this campsite is that it is easy access to both Kings Canyon and Sequoia parks. There are only two downfalls with this campsite. First, the toilets are vault toilets. The campsite employees do a great job keeping the bathrooms clean, but it doesn't stop the flies from filling up the bathroom by late afternoon. Not all campers close the toilet lid and bathroom door like they should which leads to flies. Second, the roads are all dirt, so when people drive to/from their sites, there will be dust in the air. It isn't horrible, but be prepared.
