Fantastic. *2022 update...Front entrance is locked. Side entrance only now, with minimal operating hours. I was told that they are having problems keeping full time employees across the entire region, and almost ALL ranger stations are closed for the moment. It seems I get a lot of questions about this being a "campground". It is not. It is a ranger station, with free Smokey Bear pencils and bookmarks and such for the kids...yes you can park an RV here, but no hookups. You would literally just be parking on the side of the main street, as if it was any other business. The other video from the user named Scott is of the falls a few miles up the highway. This gives you the idea of the views you get for parking an RV around this area.

Rangers provide extremely helpful information for me to explore the Creede area and get to see the signs of the world largest volcano in this area.

Ranger was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the condition of trails and we're very nice to the kids, giving them junior ranger activities (for kids older than 8).
