i enjoyed my stay here. the mosquitos and ticks were bad when i visited so bring bug spray. every site was spread out enough that i didn’t hear anyone at night. the bathrooms were clean and smelt good for an outdoor bathroom. the camp hosts were all very friendly and helpful. the fire pits were a bit shallow so it was hard to cook over the fire without burning the food. i would come here again.

I'm so glad the State of Colorado kept the area public. What a jewel. I wouldn't bring a large camper here( over 38) due to the fact that most sites are smaller. I enjoyed walks and hikes in the Weminuche, too.

Campground hosts all excellent at what they do. Constantly helping folks with everything from fixing a generator to jump starting stranded travelers. No extra fees for pets here and many tent and RV sites available.
