Amazing spot to pitch a tent. We were passing through, and we didn't have anything booked for the night. Luckily, we stumbled upon this gem. Amazing views and clean facilities. The park staff were professional and courteous.
Camped here for 3 nights. The view is beautiful and the lake is a short walk. Each camp site has a picnic table, ring and water/facet. We were visited by deer, coyotes and raccoons at night. Watch where you step as we saw a rattlesnake, Scorpion and tons ants around the campsite. Rangers and hosts are nice and friendly.
Gorgeous! Tons of birds! Clean restrooms. Showers are coin operated so have quarters. You don't need many. The camphosts are sweeter than pie! Please pick up some trash while you're there! That was seriously the ONLY thing not awesome about this place!
Robert was our camp host And he and his wife were amazing and friendly Very helpful and kept camp ground in order We will be going back just because of them
