We were very glad that we visited this park on our way from Vegas to Zion. There was a long line at the entrance because it is one-lane traffic, and we arrived in the late afternoon. The admission fee of $15 did seem a bit excessive considering the number of hiking trails available in the state park. However, the stunning views and unique rock formations were well worth the price. I would recommend budgeting to arrive earlier in the day to avoid the long line and to fully enjoy all the hiking trails.

This place is so amazing! My favorite thing to do in Vegas when we have some time off, is go for a nice drive through the Valley of Fire. Anyone that doesn’t give it 5 stars, there is something wrong with them. The minimal entry fee is worth every single penny. The grounds are kept so clean, very well looked after. The staff is great, I’m more than happy to pay my fee. It is simply breath taking there, words cannot express the beauty. So many places to stop and take photos, so many cute little roads that weave in and out. Many hiking trails although I don’t do them. I’m more the car club type of tourist. Oh, and you can rent my C8 to get these fabulous photos too and make it a memorable drive. Gawd I just love this place. Excited to go back and perhaps actually hike through there. It’s simply breathtaking.

Beautiful park. Anyone who can't make it to the big 5 national parks of Utah should be sure to stop here to get a glimpse of what red rock looks like and feels like. It's super close to Vegas and so well maintained with so many hikes to do.

Located a little less than an hour from the strip, this is an amazing place to visit . The admission was $15 for non-Nevada residents and $10 for the residents. A very reasonable price for a day of exploring and hiking. There were basically two scenic drives that cover most if not all of the sites of the park. The drive was very beautiful and enjoyable if you are short on time. Definitely should stop by if you are visiting vegas strip.
