I've stayed at the campground and motel several times over the years. It's always been clean and quiet and the staff are friendly and helpful. Whether you are planning to explore the area and visit the state parks nearby, enjoy boating on the Columbia River, or just passing through, you'll find these accommodations more than adequate for an overnight stay. 😀
Booked river front site - rv is 35’ long and not possible to get level in the river sites, no picnic table, no washroom at riverfront. They moved us to another spot with no fire pit and behind their building. Paid $15 for early arrival at 1pm. Very old campground with no nearby food. There’s a coffee shop which closes by 2pm. Would only stay here again in a pinch.
Just an overnight stop on our way back acrossed the country in the RV. But super close to the river Nice, clean and felt safe. Very pretty view. Full hook. We were the only ones there short term although several long term ones there.
We stayed at the river site #7. Beautiful site. BEWARE of wasp nest in #7s power box. Check in details: You have to call for the person to check you in. We didn't know we couldn't have a fire at the river sites until we got there. Riverfront site details: When you pull up to the area you have to remove the cable gate and put it back on. It was pretty annoying having to constantly do this but its used to keep random people from coming in. Sites #1-7 are great. #8-9 river sites power and hose are close to the edge so if you have center plug ins like the airstream we saw they had to park theirs side ways. There was a little river access for swimming or wading in the water. Really nice for the hot days. Just a reminder the bathroom and showers are back up near the check in office/general store. Bathrooms and showers were clean when we stayed. Recommend bringing shower slippers. There were two showers each one had a stall of their own which was really nice. It had a bench to place your things and two hooks to hang your items.
No picnic tables on Riverfront spots, no answer on 4 of 6 calls to the absent office staff. General Store closed the entire stay. No codes provided for washroom/showers. Better options elsewhere.
