Awesome little campground. Be forewarned, there is a little interstate noise, a bit of wind, and some mice. None of them have affected our stay. Amazing scenery, a close hiking 3 mile trail, and beautiful sunsets. Oh, and plenty of places to climb if that's your thing.
Great camping here. No water available. Lots of nice sites were available when we arrived. Back again a year later, and this place e is still fantastic.
This is an absolutely beautiful campground in Eastern Wyoming! It's primitive camping so there's no electricity or plumbing on site but the views are stunning. Every site has a fire ring & picnic table. The registration is kind of confusing since there is nobody on site to help. It's done on the honor system & campground personnel only come out a couple times a week to clean restrooms & pick up registrations. Make sure you bring cash to pay for registration since there is no way to use credit or debit cards. This campground is a great place to do some hiking, rock climbing, & scenic photography though. Like I said before, the views are beautiful!
Loved the area, loved the way everything was set up. Self check in as long as there is a space you're good. The scenery was gorgeous. Got cold and windy at night.
Great place for camping! I was there for the second time this August. Has great night skies to see milky way and persieds meteor shower. Can't beat the price at $10 a night. You must self register. The campground is much larger than I had originally thought. We stayed in an area where we were the only ones around. You can chill and watch the rock climbers on the massive rock formations that surround the campground. You can explore the many trails that wind around the area.
