Apparently if you're not friends of the man in the camper they don't want your business. Uncomfortable situation that we regret putting our boys in. Also picked up 7 nails where you park, if you get to stay that is. Spent money at another pond that we're already planning on returning to!

So I've been here for a couple months, I really just only needed to drop in didn't really think I was going to be staying this long, but I could easily stay here a year, definitely like it here Nice property and clean facilities.

I went out of my way to go see the emerald mine. Sadly disappointed. It looked more like a glorified junk yard. There were no signs indicating anything on the main house. A bunch of RVs and trailers in the back that certainly didn't lend to the hope to find anything of interest. There were trailers full of garbage on site as well as broken down appliances...and a coin laundry. I didn't bother to inquire. Sad.

Great camping area and community. The owner is laid back and 100% genuine. The fishing is second to none and offers alot of opportunities at multiple game fish.
