Ventura Beach RV Resort Introduce
Ventura Beach RV Resort, located at 800 W Main St, Ventura, CA 93001, USA, offers an RV camping experience with close proximity to the beach and downtown Ventura. As part of the "Campgrounds & RV Parks" category, it provides a convenient location for travelers. However, customer reviews reveal a mix of positive and negative experiences.
Positive reviews emphasize the resort's convenient location, allowing guests to walk to the beach and downtown Ventura. The resort is also praised for its pet-friendly environment, well-maintained grounds, and frequent security checks throughout the day. Some staff members are described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a positive experience.
However, negative reviews raise significant concerns about the resort's amenities and staff attitudes. One reviewer described a negative experience with reservation issues, extra charges for holiday events they deemed unsatisfactory, and being placed in a noisy spot near the freeway. They also reported poor experiences with on-site events like taco night and free donuts, which were described as disappointing.
Concerns were also raised about the behavior of children at the pool and playground, with reports of broken glass and dog poop in the sand. The reviewer felt the resort was overcrowded and lacked adequate supervision. They also criticized the staff's attitude, describing most of them as unprofessional and not people-oriented, except for one friendly and helpful staff member.
The high cost of staying at the resort, with one reviewer mentioning nearly $500 for two nights, was also a point of contention. The reviewer felt the experience did not justify the price.
These reviews suggest that while Ventura Beach RV Resort offers a convenient location and some positive aspects, potential guests should be aware of the reported issues with amenities, crowds, and staff attitudes. It is advisable to inquire about the resort's policies and amenities before booking.
Ventura Beach RV Resort offers mixed reviews on amenities and staff. Located at 800 W Main St.

We had a great stay and the kiddos enjoyed the time there. You can walk to the beach and Downtown Ventura from the RV Resort. Staff members were friendly, well maintained resort, pet friendly, and frequent security checks throughout the day. Thank you Ventura RV Resort!❤️
We visit the place this last summer. We just bought our motorhome and we were looking for a great place to go. We used to live in Ventura so we wanted to be there as I was calling for the reservations. I spoke to several people and they put us on the grass area, it cost a little bit more because they said it was a holiday for him which was BS because they had entertainment that weekend that cost us more money and the band was a joke. There was three people listening, taco night was a joke. nobody even showed up and then they had free donuts which we went in there and they were only two left, put us in another spot And they said oh this is a better spot which it was very noisy. They said we weren’t going to be near the freeway with the other spot the grass area we were by the freeway we just heard the car left and right it was awful. I got a $25 credit which I never could use, workers were the worst attitude I’ve ever seen in my entire life, but this place was pretty much run by kids , and meaning kids were there little kids, were teenagers. We went to the pool all kids. All the kids were in the Jacuzzi. They took over the playground was consistent one swinging a slide, broken glass, and a bunch of dog poop in the sand. This was the worst place, the lady told me this is a five stars she doesn’t know what a 5 star is. I would never recommend this place. There’s much better places to be at was just too crowded. They allowed people to do whatever they want to the kids did whatever they wanted to NEVER again and I believe The cost of two nights was almost $500 which I didn’t see getting a dime out of this. It was a joke very small, not convenient at all. Have to say there was one nice kid that worked there and he was the one that greeted you and told you where to park had a smile on his face. Every time you went in and out he was very friendly very nice very professional the other workers take note!!!! they’re on the wrong field not a people person. None of them are.
Dear Ventura Beach RV Resort Management, I am writing to request a complimentary two-day stay at Ventura Beach RV Resort due to challenges we have experienced during our previous visits. This past weekend, we made reservations for Friday and Saturday with the flexibility to arrive on Saturday and stay through Monday. We checked in on Saturday and stayed at site 94. However, on Sunday morning, I received a call from Adriana stating that we had not checked in. I clarified that we were already in site 94. Later that day, we received an emergency call from our daughter about a plumbing leak at home. My wife left immediately to address the issue, while I stayed behind to break down and prepare the motorhome for departure. When I contacted the front desk to request that the unused day be credited for a future stay, I was informed this was not possible. Additionally, this was the second significant issue we’ve encountered at your resort. On February 16–18, 2024, we stayed at site 155 but were evacuated due to heavy rains and potential flooding. Given these circumstances, I kindly request a complimentary two-day stay to make up for the disruptions we have experienced. I have also attached photos of the plumbing leak in our laundry room to provide further context. Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to your response. there response: We are not able to apply any credit to your account. We already made an exception for you by changing your arrival date without the required 72 hour advance notice. Thank you.
I came to this campground on thanksgiving weekend for one day with my family, we rented 3x spots.the place was not full, It was my birthday and my father-in-law birthday on Sunday we asked to stay a little bit later so we can celebrate altogether for a few more hours originally they said yes, and then they change their mind and Tree has to send security to kick us out😩 on the night before We ask if they have Wi-Fi service they said yes, but we have to pay for it😩 to let you know the price for this one night it’s $225 per night per campsite. It’s outrageous. The people in the front office majority are very rude and not helpful at all. I can go on and on and on. I’ve been there many times and I’m not going back.
Place is a complete rip off. I had a major personal emergency and had to leave early on my already outrageously priced 30 day stay and they refused to refund me. Place is so unbelievably expensive, meanwhile open spaces everywhere (guess I know why). There are plenty of places to stay in Ventura don’t even waste your time!
