We had a wonderful time at Vero Beach Kamp. The staff were all outstanding! The two Keith's, Mike, and Jordan did a great job helping any time it was needed. I really enjoyed the 1pm Bible study on Thursdays. We enjoyed the events that were held as well. We will be back! Matt and Lucia
Vero Beach Kamp really came through for me and my husband. Our truck broke down.on a Sunday. Good Sam Roadside Assisance had our truck and 30 ft travel trailer towed to the side of US 1 in Florida for the night with no facilities (that's a completely different story....nightmare!). However we called Vero Beach Kamp in season, February, and they offered us an emergency spot (with full hookup) that they hold for situations like ours. They were so nice and accommodating, we arrived in the pouring rain and Mike lead us to our site and stayed with us while we got set up and then a little while later another site opened up and they offered the spot to us and we moved. The entire staff was very nice and offered great customer service. The park is very well maintained, quiet , spacious wooded sites, the pool was really nice!. We can't thank them enough for helping us make the best of a bad situation. This stop wasn't on our original trip but we'll definitely stop if we come this way again!
We absolutely had the best time here. Clean, quiet, loved our neighbors. The bathrooms and hot showers were so clean and kept nice. I have zero complaints about this place. We plan on coming back many more times! Absolutely a great place to camp!!!
I have been to campgrounds' all over the U.S. and this one is the best by far. Well maintained, easy to get in and the staff and people that are camping here are the best. I got here after dark so the staff left a detailed map marked out with my site location. picked it up on the way in and when i got to the site to neighboring campers came out to help guide me in. Really wonderful to have courteous neighbors that would jump up to help someone they haven't met. Truly a blessing to have a campground with courteous people everywhere. Everything here is well maintained, the showers, pool, site everything is immaculate. I will definitely be staying here again if I am within 100 miles. well worth the price which I thought was very reasonable also
We stayed for a week in the small cabin. We loved the location and the staff was friendly (even allowing us to come in a day earlier than our reservation) the pool was beautiful, very clean. Nice laundry facilities. Bathroom and shower rooms where clean (even though they are very outdated and extremely hot) Overall we enjoyed the park itself ...but the cabin was an entirely different story. The odor was unbearable, at first we thought it was from being closed up but the smell never left. We had to buy are fresheners (even though there was useless empty ones in the cabin) we also tried putting a dryer sheet on the ac vent. The cabin had obviously not been cleaned in a LONG time, the ceiling fan was caked with dirt (which I observed close up when I had to climb up to reach the fan cord). The bed was like sleeping on a rock. Also, I think the bunkbed is just crammed in, in order to charge for more occupants. I could not imagine a family of four staying there comfortably. I understand it is a cabin and rustic but for that amount of money I expected it to be clean.
The place is kinda dumpy. They have a shop of some sort and other commercial things happening in the campground. Toilets and showers are dated. Drove through and decided to cancel a future stay. Even though our stay was canceled 9 months prior to stay, they charge 10% penalty on deposit. Never was told about that when the reservation was made. Also, it took over a month to send a check as they don't credit your card. Glad we didn't stay there. Nicer places to stay in the area.
Sue and I had a great time staying at Vero Beach Kamp. Everybody that works there did an exceptional job as always. The campground is very clean and well maintained. Sue and I feel like we are part of the Vero Beach Kamp family. Thanks for the enjoyable 4 month stay. See you all next January.
The perfect getaway ! Hubby and I recently stayed here and were beyond impressed. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and incredibly welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful and ensured we had the best experience. It’s the kind of place you visit once and immediately start planning your return trip. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area looking to unplug and recharge !
