Very quiet place to stay and nice place to visit!
No playground, nothing for kids actually, it has picnic tables but no electricity or lights for night use or bday parties.. its in desperate need of swings or something to make it resemble a park.. lots of kids live in this area and they have nothing to do unless they walk half way through town to a decent park or play in the creek which they aren't allowed to do anymore.. a swingset really wouldn't break the bank..
Great little campground right by downtown. $15 for the night and has free water by the bathrooms and electric hookups for RVs. Some spots are fully shaded and some are not. There's a walking or bike path that's under construction at the moment. For the price, the campground is awesome.
Every town in America needs a campground like this to benefit from the revenue of us travelers! We have stayed here 3-4 nights a year for the last 6 years on our way through. It is a nice place to overnight for the ease and conveinence and the price ($15). Back in and pull beside spots. We camped here in a class A with 26ft enclosed trailer. 50amp hookups and dump station. Small playground, grass well groomed. Walking trail as well. We can always find something to complain about but for the price Victor Park Campground is a treat . Thanks City of Wayne!
It cost $15 a night. They have 30 & 50 Amp hookups, dump station, well water, and about 10 spots available. We stayed over the weekend and it was quiet, not busy, and it was enjoyable. Everyone in Wayne must stop and use the park bathroom though because it nonstop.
