Phone: As Vineyard Lake County Park is a public access area rather than a privately operated campground with formal booking, a specific direct phone number for reservations or inquiries is not consistently publicized. For general park information or local inquiries, it is best to search for "Jackson County Parks Department" or "Brooklyn, MI local government" resources, which may have contact details for the park administration. While it may not have a dedicated phone line like a commercial campground, its public nature often means information is available through broader county or community channels.
For Michigan locals, Vineyard Lake in Brooklyn represents the quintessential accessible outdoor escape. Absolutely gorgeous hidden gem ✨ I've been coming here since I was a child and now I bring my daughter 🥰🙏 Things to note: the bathrooms are kinda gross, but there are a few gas stations nearby. If you keep your feet in the shallow shoreline, there's a chance of catching a leech - totally natural and fine, but watch your feet! (Remove them with your fingernail, don't just pull them off) Which also brings me to all the goose poop :| Totally free and well kept lakeside community🦋
Nice little park, cleanest vault toilet I've ever seen odd thing to add but noteworthy, swimming area was a bit mucky but kiddos had alot of fun. There is a nice park ans you are able to bring kayaks and canoes, there are lots of boars and jet skis on this lake but everyone was very respectful, no issues taking the canoe all around the lake.
I absolutely love this lake so beautiful and peaceful
Such an awesome place to visit each year
One of many beautiful lakes in the area I enjoy fishing. I will add Jackson County made some nice improvements over the last year. The sherif has life jackets available at the swimming area, added a dedicated restroom, and improved the play area. I have to complain about the dock that was installed. It is much to high for reasonable use. My wife and I find it too difficult to use, we just use the hump by the sign to get in and out.
