Visalia Marriott at the Convention Center

This is a great place to stay while in Visalia, the restaurant serves good food. There’s a breakfast buffet with real scrambled eggs, sausage and other breakfast items. The steak and eggs is awesome and so is the clam chowder. They even have a Starbucks located within the hotel. The rooms are clean, the pillows are firm, which I’m not into cheap soft pillows like other places. The shower puts out hot water within a minute or less, not like other places which takes more than a minute.

The stay was pretty disappointing. The cleanliness standards left much to be desired—the toilets were not adequately maintained, and the bedsheets did not appear fresh, which was quite off-putting. Adding to the frustration was the unprofessional behavior of some staff members. When I requested to change rooms, I felt that the workers were talking behind my back, making the situation uncomfortable and unwelcoming. There was only one elevator working, and it was very slow, causing a lot of frustration. On the positive side, the manager was nice and tried to help with my issues. Overall, my stay wasn’t enjoyable, and I hope the hotel can improve these areas in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at the Visalia Marriott, which offers great value and is conveniently close to Sequoia National Park. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a King Suite with a balcony, making the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, especially the made-to-order omelettes, which were delicious. A special mention to Cathy, our waitress who went above and beyond to accommodate us to bring decaf coffee for us from Starbucks, such a nice touch! Overall, a wonderful experience with excellent service and a great location.

Antonio and Marlo are the gold standard of bar hotel service. Good to see the same people for so many years. Location of the hotel is excellent for Visalia too.

The room is so dirty and old, the sheet looks not changed after the last guest. I tell it by the strange smell of the sheet and pillow… would never stay here again, probably will never stay in any Marriott. The brand is totally ruined by this stay. I feel bad the bad stay ruin my whole weekends. The breakfast charges 20 dollars excuse me? It’s pretty the same as the free breakfast in holiday inn.
