What a beautiful hike up Vivian Creek Trail. It was challenging due to how steep it was, not really technical though. The trees are huge and wonderful and the creek adds a serene touch bumping up the visual feels. A must check out hike. The camp sites seemed nice as well with clean bathrooms on site.
Beautiful area! If a 2 night trip is what you want, camping here after the brutal initial climb is perfect. A stream (check beforehand) at the entrance to the site provides water to filter (always filter) making the rest of your trek more enjoyable. Near the main trail so on weekends expect considerable traffic early in the morning. Day hikers started hiking past around 5:30am, some not very quiet. All in all, a great little spot to camp. No campfires of course, but that doesn't detract from the beauty.
What a beautiful hike up Vivian Creek Trail.
