Volunteer Park Family Campground

Extremely loud campground. Waste trucks and concrete trucks rumble down the road constantly. Campsites/rv sites are cramped and have very little move about space or privacy. Bathrooms are small and have no family shower or restroom. Don’t waste your time here. Never coming here again. Would not recommend.

Open year-round, but if you stay in the winter, a 4x4 would be helpful getting around the park. The staff is friendly, nice quit rv park. Been there 3 times now.

So we needed somewhere to stay on our way back to Ohio. I can say it was easy to get to from 75 but the sites are tight to the point that you use what little yard you have to park your vehicle. Rest of the things they have here might be nice but why camp if you are so close to each other. Ridiculous. Oh and it’s right next to an asphalt company 😳. So loud

Love this place, Kristen, the manager, is so nice and down to earth. She's more like a sister than a campground manager.

Very nice hidden gem. We needed a place overnight and decided to stay. My husband and I remote work summers. We have a 37 ft rv and 3 dogs. The folks at Volunteer were super friendly. The campground was well maintained. Everyone we met was helpful and courteous. Bonus points for location. We are headed north from Florida. The campground is close to I75, just north of Knoxville. Upon leaving, we fueled up at Flying Jay's ONE 9 - best fuel price so far! There's lot of ways to win staying here.
