I've been coming to Wabanaki Campground for as long as I can remember. It's right off of route 16, not too far from North Conway and about an hour and twenty minute drive to Portsmouth. There are around fifty sites, but also apartments you can rent. The apartments have A/C and Wi-Fi. There is a Marina in the bay where you can rent a boat or jet ski, but I'm sure if you asked someone from the camp for a ride they would be happy to. It's always been family owned and they do a great job of making sure you're needs are met. Plenty of hiking spots nearby and good fishing on the lake.
Nice family campground right on Lake Ossipee. We stayed in one of the four lake front apartments and it was very comfortable and clean. We plan to go back again this year.
I just came back from spending a week here and it was another amazing vacation for my family and myself. I'd recommend this campground to anyone that enjoys the beach and the beautiful mountain views.
A true family campground You don't want to leave and the kids will ask when you're going back No frills makes this a perfect hidden gem Generations of return campers speaks for itself
