The stay itself will be beautiful and fairly quiet. I do have to warn you if you do anything to make the owner Mary Jane Duncan mad she will get your children's phone numbers, as young as 11 years old, and tell the children her adult issues with you. She joined a group chat with my 3 kids, whom I thought she respected since she's 80 years old, and told them all the reasons they need to be mad at me and choose her.
Horrible . Met Mary and she seemed great . Had a camp site picked out and planned to go pay in a few days and go take our camper there to set up . We agreed on a day . She text me 2 days before and said our site was leased and so was the other 2 sites after she said nobody wanted them and we had plenty of time . Not sure why this happened but that was really rude and inconsiderate. Wife and kids are now disappointed and it’s too late to find another spot.
Mary is very rude when talking to her on the phone about the campground. Rents spaces from our underneath you. Kinda wants your money but not you. Involves children in adult situations.
We called for information. The lady was extremely rude. My advice for her is to update her website if she doesn't want to be bothered with phone calls. Hopefully everyone in Indiana is not as rude as she is.
Absolutely horrible business. I would never rent or camp anywhere that they own. They are downright disrespectful and have absolutely no moral compass messaging, young children about issues that they have with their parents that is so uncool
We love it there! Don't plan on giving it up until we're too old!!!
