Customer Reviews
We had to stop at a campground with water and electricity, so we chose Wagon West RV Park. The camp host in the office was a terrific lady named Mary Ann. The site we had was adequate and I was especially happy to be right next to the restroom and laundry. The cost was more than I wanted to pay but I chose this campground because of its location to our destination and the fact that it had free showers. The restrooms were very clean and the showers were hot with good water pressure. The grounds were lovely and very well maintained and I would recommend this for an overnight stop.
Staying here for a few months. It is reasonably priced as of January 2025. Water pressure is low. Office does not have long enough hours during the day though.
Our delightful winter home with the friendliest folks around! Love the smaller, more remote park with plenty to do and people who want to participate. So happy we found all these new friends!
We stayed here from mid-October 2023 through mid-February 2024. This park is a 55+ park and is very quiet day and night. If you are retired, they have plenty of activities going on throughout the month. Dances, breakfast, jam sessions, poker, bingo, darts, a craft room, a wood shop, and walking to outer edge of the park is 0.75 miles each lap. The sunsets are gorgeous over the desert. You can get mail and packages here, PO Box is $10 (not sure if that was a one time charge or per month). They also have a manual car wash station, propane fill, and an unfenced dog walk area that is just dirt and no gravel, great for tiny dog feet! There is a dog run but it has gravel so best for larger dogs. They have some exercise equipment in the main hall along with a book collection, and stage. The location, if you are looking for solitude you’re in the right place. There is nothing around for a 20 minute drive down the highway. Quartzite is there. Beyond that tiny desert town, you’re looking at 2.5 hours to Lake Havasu City or Phoenix. There is a Walmart in Parker but its shelves are usually bare from being the closest to Quartzite. Other than ATV trails and desert golf along with the activities mentioned above, that’s all there is. Most people come for the ATV trails. There is not much hiking as the gravel is deep and there isn’t much elevation. There was no mountain biking for us unless we drove to Lake Havasu City or Phoenix. This campground is well worth the money and the campers here are extremely friendly. Overall, our experience was positive, just wish there were more activities that we were into. It made an excellent place to work since it was so quiet and the sites are a decent size as well. We recommend this campground.
Wagon West RV Park is a great spot to stop while traveling through or for a long-term getaway in the winter. It is well maintained and full of friendly folk. We have family with long term lots that we visited over the holiday. It is nice to be able to bring our own trailer and have a spot of our own. The bathrooms at the front of the park were clean and spacious and the park is quiet and well located for off road exploration if that is your thing. We look forward to our next visit!
