This is a large campground. Lots of seasonal rigs but still some nice campsites for us weekend warriors. VERY quiet and peaceful. There is no main attraction like a lake or river in the campground, but the location gives you easy access to all the NH seacoast has to offer. For us, a perfect close weekend getaway and relax.
The property is really nice. It was clean and my kids enjoyed the mini golf. We stayed for one night in a cabin. We arrived very late at night and it was a bit challenging to find the cabin, even with the map. Everyone we encountered was friendly. My kids really liked the bunk beds. I realized that camping is not for me, unless it’s in an RV. I did not like that you had to pay for showers. Mainly because it’s a pain if you don’t have quarters on you. I thought it was a bit pricey for what it was. The following day we stayed at a budget motel which ended up being cheaper than the cabin.
What a hidden gem. The campground was perfect spot. Nice location and the owners were gracious and friendly. All the work in the campground is done by the owner and staff. They have a mill on site they plain the wood that they cut trees down with and use that to repair and make things in the campground. Picnic tables, new front porch on main building, new cabins, and many more things. Great worksman and idea. Nice work. We walked and explored the campground.
Wonderful campground, only a short drive to the beach and other attractions. Super clean, quiet and nice fresh water at the site. Will be our go-to for many years to come - great place! About the only qualm (not the campground's fault) is the extremely weak cellular signal in the area... those with need for connecting to the outside world will need to visit the trading post to jump on the free wifi.
Huge campground with amenities. Well kept and clean and friendly staff and neighbors. There are over 400 sites, some are long term mobile homes, others seasonal. They have overnight RV and camping sites as well as cabins. This place is gated and spotless. Very quiet and shaded sites.
