Waldenwoods Resort & Conference Center

We had our wedding in Cromaine Hall last year and loved this venue. We utilized the on-site lodging, having our rehearsal dinner there, and it was so nice and fun to have everything in one spot. Our only negative was with choosing a plated dinner -- it seemed to take a bit longer and some guests said their food was cold. If I could go back, I think the buffet option is the way to go! (and it's easier from a planning standpoint vs having everyone tell you their meal choice). Their food is good otherwise and I received great services and help in planning the day from everyone who worked there.

My husband and I just had our wedding (and reception) at Waldenwoods' Cromaine Hall on 11.30.24 and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! There was so much praise that was being voiced from our guests regarding the atmosphere, the food and the service provided by the Waldenwoods' staff. From day 1, the communication we had received from Waldenwoods during the planning period was amazing. We did end up renting the Hilltop Cottage as well and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage and how cozy it was! I couldn't imagine having booked anywhere else for our wedding!

Great campground close to stores and my house, but still feel like you're camping in the sticks. Some of the sites aren't set up to great for sewer and stuff. Nice lake, but no good place to fish from the shore. Need to have a fishing pier since they tout their great fishing. All employees I've dealt with are friendly and helpful. Lots of amenities. Nice walking trail and plenty for the kids to do.

Had a celebration for the MVCA National Honor Society in the banquet center this evening, and I must say the food was exceptional and the atmosphere beautiful! I highly recommend this banquet center and the food! The staff did a wonderful job as well. I would give it 10 stars!!

We bought a new 5th wheel and received a 2 week stay just for going on a tour. When we got there we told them we had no desire to join because we had a membership elsewhere. Tom the owner said that was fine however we needed to take tour to get 2 free weeks. Long story short after the tour, of a great place by the way, we are now members. I want to say thank you to Tom and Cheryl for your transperency, honesty and no pressure to buy in. We are looking forward to many fun camping trips and we would recommend this place to anyone. We've never been treated so good or felt so relaxed. Thank you, Greg and Janie Salgat.
