Customer Reviews
This lake is incredibly beautiful and serene. Its surface is so smooth, it mirrors the surrounding mountains perfectly. The water has a stunning green hue. I absolutely love this lake. 💚
Walker Lake has been making a comeback this year with the record snowfall last year! It is excellent in the summer for boating and swimming. Because of high salinity, it is not a fishing lake. Beware of the wind! The BLM campground, Sportsman Beach was nice with vault toilets, shady awnings and fire pits. The views were great!
I was impressed at just how big this body of water was when I was driving past it on US 95. I believe it is an important way point for certain types of migratory fowl.
Quite place to boondock on BLM land. Windy at night calm morning. 3 day weekend in June. Just 3 other campers Great sunset and sunrise with sierra backdrop. Small fly swarms at night.
It was pretty but very windy. There's different options for camp sites with different prices we decided to go to the spot that was dispersed. The dispersed area you need to be careful. The dirt is very soft closer to the water and can get stuck if don't have 4 wheel drive.
