Wallicut River RV and Campground Resort Introduce

Wallicut River RV and Campground Resort, located at 1509 US-101, Ilwaco, WA 98624, falls within the Campgrounds & RV Parks category. This campground offers RV and camping accommodations with full hookup options.

Customer reviews indicate a mix of positive and negative experiences. The campground is praised for its spacious pull-through sites and a peaceful environment, which allows for extra space between campers. The staff is noted for being friendly, and the campground offers propane at a competitive price. The location is also convenient, with close proximity to the town of Ilwaco and its attractions, including a free museum.

However, a significant concern is the condition of the grounds, particularly during rainy seasons. Several reviewers have reported extremely muddy conditions, with limited gravel and numerous potholes, leading to vehicles getting stuck. This has resulted in costly towing expenses for some campers. The grounds are also described as not well-maintained, with uncut grass and general upkeep issues. While the restrooms are reported to be clean, the overall maintenance of the campground is a concern. The campground is described as being self serve, so those needing assistance may find this to be a negative.

The price of $62 per night with full hookups is considered relatively high for the current condition of the park. It is advised to check the weather conditions before booking and be prepared for potentially muddy grounds. For inquiries or reservations, you can contact Wallicut River RV and Campground Resort at (360) 642-3292 or +1 360-642-3292.

We stayed here in our 32ft motorhome with 16' boat in January. There had been a LOT of rain the last couple weeks and the campsites were MUDDY!! Very little gravel in pull thru,,tons of big branches down and major potholes everywhere! The Staff WAS GREAT! very friendly and propane was only 1.99/gallon. BUT>.....when we took our motorhome into town and left boat there, we got STUCK trying to get back into our campsite. Tried for an HOUR before we had to call a tow-truck to get us out of the big MUDDY MESS and then we got STUCK again!! He had to winch us out AGAIN! He told us he has had MANY calls for stuck RV's at this park........ That was a $300 bill.. We would NOT stay here again unless the weather was hot and sunny and the grounds were DRY! Great location and BIG pull thrus so it COULD BE a great RV Park. The price was $62 per night w/ full hook-up so pretty expensive for a muddy park. Hopefully the owners will throw a lot of gravel down and fix the potholes in the future.

The grounds are not kept up, mowed etc. It is quite peaceful and no one bothers you. We poked our heads into the restrooms and they were clean. The park is quiet, even though it's by the road. Would stay again because we like the extra space between scheduled campers. Keep in mind, it's pretty self serve, so if you're dependent on help you are SOL. Like the close proximity to Ilwaco. Free museum was a must.

Where to begin??? What happened to this place? Run down campground no store pot holes everywhere water puddles everywhere mud everywhere spots not kept up pretty sure our motor home sank a few inches in the unkept ground staff no where in site sewer hook up broke low water pressure with the park 20% full. Stayed here a few times in the past to never stay here again. It’s become almost as bad as Eagles Nest RV Resort down in Ilwaco. Avoid this place

Our first time out in the new RV was made better by this place. The camp host was super sweet and let us change our site. Close enough to activities without being right in the city. I definitely recommend the 70s and 80s for sites.

Update- We have family come up every year this year we camped here in may to see if we liked it or not then we reserved 2 spots for Labor Day weekend when family was coming in from Oregon, California and Missouri. We were extremely disappointed. To start they charged us 2 credit card fees for one transaction. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting there was even mold growing in the shower around the faucet. The same shower in the women’s bathroom that had the light hanging out of the ceiling in May was still hanging from the ceiling. Only difference was they put blue tape across the shower to say it was out of order. So only 2 showers in the women’s bathroom. Sunday night we were sitting around the fire having a good time playing “heads up” at 8:30 (quiet time is 10pm) the lady from the office came over to tell us we needed to be quiet. We ended our game and did as she asked but we definitely were not happy about it and won’t be staying there next year. Beautiful spot, hosts were nice, close to beach and shopping. Did not have 5G but WiFi reached out to our site for watching movies at night. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on being back in the fall.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Three Years and Counting — A Perfect Getaway Every Time! We've stayed at Wallicut Campground for the past three years in a row, and each visit just confirms why we keep coming back. This place is a gem — peaceful, well-maintained, and run by a group of genuinely amazing people who clearly care about their guests and the campground. What really stands out is how spacious each site is. Whether you're camping with just a few people or coming in with a larger group (JSWA), there’s plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the outdoors without feeling crowded. That kind of space makes a big difference, especially when you're trying to relax. The bathrooms are always clean and fully stocked, which we really appreciate — it’s something you don’t find everywhere, and it shows a commitment to guest comfort. When we come with a group, we’re especially grateful for the multiple Honey Buckets placed around the campground that makes a big difference in convenience and accessibility. The location is perfect for us — close to the things we want to see and do, but far enough removed to still feel like a peaceful retreat. Whether you're just passing through or planning an extended stay, it's an ideal base for a coastal getaway. We’ve been consistently impressed with how well the campground is run, and we hope more people will support this hardworking team. Their efforts are clear in every part of the property, and with continued support, they can keep improving and providing this incredible place for us to return to year after year. Highly recommend Wallicut Campground — you won’t be disappointed!

I had a fantastic experience stopping at Wallicut River RV and Campground Resort during my recent trip to Long Beach! This beautiful 30-acre forested park is a gem, nestled along the serene Wallicut River. The grounds are well-maintained, with spacious RV sites that made parking and setup a breeze. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The clean restrooms and hot showers were a huge plus after a day of exploring. I loved the peaceful, rustic vibe and the convenience of being just minutes from Long Beach’s shops, restaurants, and beaches. The fire pit and picnic table at my site were perfect for relaxing in the evening. I’d highly recommend this campground to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be back on my next trip

Very nice people. Site was kinda messy from mowed grass not being cleaned up and the picnic tables need a serious cleaning. Fire pit was broken. I think the price is a little expensive considering the site. Over all it was a good time .

For the price, I expected better maintenance. Roads in and out are rutted with pot holes, no definition of sites because the grass is so overgrown, you can't see where the trailer parking spot is. Office hours are a lie, we tried a couple of times to grab propane and they'd be "out to lunch" for hours at a time during office hours. Not worth the price we paid.
